Neverwhere..

Align Left
finished reading the book neverwhere a few weeks back..
it was first a television series written by Neil gaiman who later adapted it into a Novel..
it starts of bringing us into the life of the main character who seemingly is heading
to a better job and life in London..and is gifted with an umbrella with the map of the London underground subway stations which wld later be whr the whole story revolves around...
then we are show how busy his life has become in London..
his fiance is a workaholic..
and then we are brought into London below.
The character 'Door' is introduced to us as she frantically tries to escape form
Mr.croup and Vandermar..
then back to the busy Life of The main character Richard Mayhew..
Gaiman weaves the stories together and bring these to characters together when

'Richard stops to help a mysterious young girl who appears before him, bleeding and weakened, as he walks with his fiancée to dinner to meet her influential boss.'

this is when the adventure truly begins..
there is more to london then meets the eye..
and entire forgotten city below it..whr some ppl fall through the cracks..
ppl can harly notice this ppl of london below in london..they go unnoticed..
The whole story revolves around the london underground station and Gaiman does an incredible job using the various stations etc to bring his story about..
as usual he plays around with opposites and unlikely hero's and characters..
Rat's are kings and humans speak for them..
the most feared Hunter of london below is a beautiful looking woman..
Door is only a young girl..
the villain is the most holy saint of them all..haha
Gaiman uses alot of the prominent aspects of london..
after all the adventure of london below, the final pages shows us a reflection of how richards life wld be and he decides that he wld rather live in london below..

it as usual another awesome read..
Neil gaiman's writings hav not disappointed me thus far..
anythin he writes is magical and surreal..it truly is on a platform of its own..
give it a try if youve never read a book by Neil Gaiman..
if u love neil gaiman then you gotta get this..
